Tommy grew up racing BMX in Dayton, Ohio before crossing over into the mountain bike world and making history in Switzerland in 2019, becoming the inaugural Red Bull UCI Pump Track World Champion at the Swiss Bike Park in Bern. He did it on a 26" dirt jump bike — the exact discipline the Shine was built for. He knows exactly what a frame needs to do at the highest level of pump track and dirt jump competition, and he chose the Shine. That is the best product test available.

The Shine has always been the frame that refuses to be put in a box. Originally designed as a pure 4X race frame, it draws from Supercross BMX's 35 years of world championship-winning BMX geometry and blends it with the demands of modern dirt jumping, pump track racing, and 4X competition. The result is a frame that is equally at home sending a step-down at the dirt jumps, pinning berms at a 4X race, or dialing in laps on an asphalt pump track. Bubba Harris has raced it. The Shine V4 is built from full seamless Easton ULR 7005 taperwall aluminum — the same high-grade material Supercross uses across its racing lineup. The frame is welded in fixture, aligned, aged to T-4 hardness, checked for alignment again, then continued to T-6 hardness. That double heat treat process is the secret to the Shine's ride quality — stiff enough to sprint and snap but with enough life in it to absorb the repeated impacts of dirt jumping without beating you up. The seat and chainstays are custom butted and shaped oval to round for maximum tire clearance and rigidity at the BB shell. The low 12.75" seatmast height on both short and long sizes gives the Shine its signature low-slung, planted stance that riders immediately notice on the first pump.

ISCG-05 tabs are welded on for easy chain guide mounting. Internal cable routing keeps lines protected and clean. Adjustable vertical dropouts give you a full inch of wheelbase adjustment and let you run single speed or multi-speed with equal ease. The 73mm CNC'd Euro threaded BB shell keeps drivetrain setup simple and compatible with the widest possible range of components.

Available in 24" and 26" wheel sizes. The 26" comes in Short (21.75" TT), Long (22.75" TT), and Xtra-Long (23.75" TT). Colors include Mirror Polish, Gloss Black, Matte Flame Blue, Hi-Vis Yellow, Metallic Grey, and custom anodized or powdercoat options.
